I Like Felting

I finished my purse almost a week ago, but I just haven't taken the time to post it. I have a front-loading washer, so I'm at a little disadvantage, but I think it felted nicely enough. You can still see the stitches a little, but I'm just going to leave it. Now, I'm ready to make a Booga bag. My knitting group meets Saturday, and that would be a perfect project to take along to work on.

I haven't posted any pictures of our yarn-loving kitty for a while. Here she is sleeping on a bunch of yarn.

Oh, I love Booga Bags! I haven't made one but definitely want to. Love the kitty and the yarn - now that is a comfortable pose.

Looks great! I know alot of people have made the Booga Bags and liked them, so it should be a good project.

I swear that cat could be Mildred. Looks just like her.

I have a front loading washer too and tried recently to felt a bag, with dismal results. I can go to my sister in law's and use her washer, she said.

Aren't felted bags fantastic???

When I bought a new washer, I went with a top loading one for a couple of reasons--to save money and for better felting. Though, I have to say this yarn felted well in your washer. The bag looks great!

Funny picture of your cat! I like how she's using one ball of yarn as a pillow.

The bag turned out great! I also have a front-loading washer and have been reluctant to do any felting projects. I'm glad to see yours turned out.

The booga bag was the very first felted bag I ever made.

Pretty bag! Kitty too cute for words. Looks like you need a bigger basket to accomodate yarn and kitty!

Haven't tried felting yet but it's on the list of things to try. I wish my cat would justsleep on the yarn and not try and knit with it himself.
