And yes, those of you who know us, we were looking for a "Rowdy clone." Russ looked at some other breeds, but we just kept coming back to beagles. We also thought about rescuing a dog, but we do lots of other P.C. stuff, and we really wanted a puppy. I'd kind of forgotten how much work a puppy is, but we've had a fun couple of days getting to know him and probably spoiling him too much. That's OK, Rowdy was a well-behaved doggie (for a beagle), and we spoiled him.

Oh Caroline, he is adorable. I love the picture of him working with his daddy! LOL
Congratulations on the new addition!
Congratulations on your new family member!
I love beagles, but admire those of you who have the patience and courage to train one! I'm sure he'll be worth all your efforts.
So stinkin' cute. It almost makes me want to run out and get one too. You can teach him to retrieve your yarn balls and dropped needles for you.
Okay, now I am in love too. growing up we were the lucky beneficiaries of the runt of an unintended litter. My great uncle had a kennel of beagles and spaniels for hunting, so our little sweetie was a beagle-cocker mix. She looked mostly beagle and had the sweetest disposition.
I'm in love with Rolly!
Hi Caroline - just catching up!
